UP TAWN
spent the morning at the farm krypton factor assembling maximum's new-ish (found on ebay) bunk bed.
had to cut it down a bit because our ceilings are low.
he still won't be able to sit up in bed but apparently this won't be a problem.
after school, left z with mum-mum and dad-dad at farm and DTT with mrs.perou and maximum.
dropped maximum at auntie emma's.
and checked into hyde park hotel.

mrs.perou thought it would be quicker to tube to hammersmith.
45 minutes later and three changes, arrived JUST in time to catch the start of lee's sold out london show.

simon evans was on first and he was very good.
lee was BRILLIANT of course.
sooo funny.

standup seems like a hard/lonely way to earn a (good) living: if you're playing in a band or acting in a show, there's a whole load of other people up on stage with you.
when you're doing standup: it's all on YOU: just you vs the audience.
scary.
stopped after the show for some drinks with lee.
he still hasn't told me 'THE joke' we keep discussing.
left past midnight
me and mrs.perou must have been drunk because we caught the only open food place we could find.
and had a double whopper with cheese (two rounds of cardboard and orange slime) and fries about 1.15am
gross.
