san pedro
woke up to electrical thunderstorms: the thunder and lightning we'd been promised all week that had failed to materialise.
thought it would be a good time to join everyone on a trip to 'san pedro' in small prop plane.
it rained most of the day.
we were not struck by lightning.
somewhere down there on the reef, we swam with sharks, sting rays and turtles.
GREAT last day in belize.
no guns, gangs or grime.
grilled lobster and strawberry daiquiris for lunch.
tasted good on the way down.
didn't stay with me for too long though.
still ill

apparently there's a hurricane on it's way.
hope our flights back to blighty aren't troubled.
hope the hurricane doesn't make it here at all: a lot of the ghetto we've been hanging in won't survive a large (or even small) gust of wind.
btw. all the time in the ghetto's been making me think about getting one of these.
