i was DRUNK last night: on all-day champagne and fatigue.
but danced through don letts' set despite the painfully swollen, twisted ankle.
followed that with a go down the helter skelter, forgetting i had a full glass of champagne in my pocket.
then had a go on something that spun us round fast and long and made us feel real sick.
had a quick blast to 'a guy called gerald' in the warehouse before finding a pork and apple sauce sandwich to throw at mick hucknall who was singing with 'the faces'
i left shortly after standing at the front of the main stage shouting 'mick hucknall you're ****ing shit. you are a fat ****'.
several people agreed with me.
clara had to drive us home.
i was too drunk to worry.
this morning i was overhung.
struggled through a full english and clara drove us back to work.
photographed another 130 or so people in clothes.
helped judge 'best in show'
kill or cure, cured the hangover with more champagne.
caught up with timna and family and mark of the sherratt and friends.
finished the working day.
went off site for a recovery dinner and pint of cider in a good pub.
and returned for (not good) 'earth wind and fire'.
maybe should have joined the rest of our crew in the packed 'warehouse' for andy weatherall etc...
i like to work hard party hard.
but we're in the middle of a long stretch of days on without any days off.
perhaps i peaked too early?
