travel day #854
met my spanish lady-friend at paddington station and took 3 trains (in 6 hours) to st.ives in cornwall.
we could have made it to new york in the same time.
SEAGULLS & MAGPIES
when i was a kid i was obsessed with fuscia bushes.
there was one on newick drive which i had to pass by walking to school every morning
cris bought one at our village summer fayre last weekend
bird burglars
checked in.
walked down the hill and mooched round town a while, knackered from the travelling.
sat on the harbour wall and ate takeaway sea-bass and chips with garlic mayo: mmm.
andy murray (pronounced 'moray' like the eels by spanish people) JUST scraped through to the finals in wimbledon.
caught him in his post match interview...i know he's tired, but CHEER UP man!
battening down the hatches:
2 months of rain due to hit cornwall tonight.
