as me and z left for the early, weekly food shoppe at tescos, he turned back to the farm and shouted 'GOODBYE NEW YORK CITY!'

old mother hubbard's cupboard had been bare.
£235 later, we had things to eat and some ingredients with which to make things to eat.

shortcake of millionaires aka 'chocolate fudge shortcake' cooked by yours truly
mum-mum perou's recipe.
but i make mine with butter not margarine and dairy milk chocolate not cooking chocolate.

there are some of my favourite unsophisticated classics on big oven (for easy reference and my own amusement...more to follow)
