up here its easy to feel detached from the panic buying on the streets below

the dark skies and rain (here all week, like me) are adding to the armageddon vibe

and the wet roads are making it VERY hard to drive my Avis upgrade (a black, Dodge Charger 5.7ltr v8 HEMI) in a straight line

this trip should be filling me with joy more than dread

i need to get shit done and get home

there's a question as to 'HOW?'

to say things are a little surreal here is an understatement

social distancing is WEIRD

i had lunch with bill, jake and madelyn: the waitress thanked us profusely for coming out to support the restaurant

i had dinner with bill, zep, jake and madelyn and the waitress did the same

i am trying unsuccessfully (so far) to get onto 'Marilyn Manson time': he has his own timezone
