...and good luck

...and good luck

we're back on the stabilisers...

took the sons and dog (with wife) through the park to the playground on the 'other side' (of victoria park).
where 'the others' go.

on the way there, passed (10ft alongside) a policeman hiding behind a fence.
he was holding a machine gun and had a holstered sidearm too.

he was obviously waiting in case someone ran out of a back door.
but what was he planning on doing if someone came running out with a gun?
was he going to open fire into a park full of people walking with babies in prams etc..?
what about a cordon?

round the corner, walked past 8 police cars and countless police with machine guns who seemed to have arrested only one unarmed middle aged lady who was mouthing off and being lary.

as usual, can't wait to leave.

bumped into the photographer 'paul wetherall' at the park.
he was part of the old 'click studios clique'.
haven't seen him in maybe 10yrs but he was as friendly as he always was.

mrs.perou's mum, ali, came for a champagne bbq.
super hot day with no wind.

wish we had a swimming pool...
