going going gone

with the exchange of contracts all done and dusty, the demolision of the perou factory has begun in earnest.

sorry earnest.

delivered the last bottle of cristal to one of our 'team' of professional helpers re: the helL.D.A /C.P.O, in sevenoaks.

returned to the factory in time to oversee more of frances' hard-drive spring cleaning.
finished some nas retouching myself, that i can't put up for AGES.
and finished the james mcavoy shots and sent them out to NY.

very occassionally i will shoot under a pseudonym, for my own amusement.
usually when one art director friend or another asks me to spend some time in the company of 'glamourous' models and photograph them for a magazine people might not expect to see my work in.

today we posted up the 'fantasy girls' shoot that i did a while back..
again, for my own amusement and i guess, now yours.
it was based on the idea of kids playing tomb raider and deliberately backing lara croft into a corner so they can see up her skirt: you never actually get to see lara with her kit off.
until now: HA!

this story takes all the tease out.
maybe tomb raider, the game, IS more sexy: i'm personally more of a 'less is more' kind of guy...but i'm always happy to photograph naked people, and preferably if they're female people.

so you got lara croft, britnney spears, princess lea, baywatch, daisy dukes, the girl off streetfighter(?) and jessica rabbit.
regardless, it was amusing on the day.
and still is, when i know i lit it all exactly the same as the first vivienne westwood campaign i did with MM and dita.
amazing what a different subject matter does for a picture.

this evening i've cut in a mohican.
yes: i'm in THAT mood.
which is unexpected as i was ready to go to war last week but not this...
it needs to grow before it can be documented though.
mrs.perou's pleased: when i first met her i had a 6inch red mohican: i looked like a 'my little pony' (kinda).

tomorrow, i'm going to be doing 10 radio interviews, for various radio stations.
some are to be recorded for later but these will apparently all be live:
