red wood
spent 5hrs photographing mrs.perou last night: just me and her in the studio together: no crew.
i love photographing her...and i love the photographs i take of her.
and of course, i love her.
(more now than when we met 8yrs ago).
this morning i got up with the kiddas.
and we all went over to oxleas woods for a walk.
the eternal flame (aka perpetual smoulder of my burning contact sheets) was still going this morning and STILL my past hasn't quite been turned to ashes.

have you seen this man
mick came over at lunchtime and we spent all afternoon dismantaling my metal shed.
it was nightmare to put up.
it was a nightmare to take down.
and it will probably be a nightmare to put back up again.
unfortunately i will be there/ will have been there each time.
mick found this work permit from 1969 in his bag (that he keeps his tools in) that he's had since 1974.
he has no idea who this guy is.
anyone recognise him?
in 1969 he was only 5ft 3"
the fire still burns...
