frances on da phone

9 days till we leave here.
8 days till my next major campaign shoot.
60% of the house in boxes.
80% of my mind concerned with things not photographic.
:(

took mrs.perou to get a new mobile and contract at stratford.
orange 'declined' her.
something about a bad credit rate...which is hysterical as she's 'the sensible one'.

stratford shopping centre is full of GROSS: unpleasant, edgy, gangsta roughness.
i'm VERY amused that the olympics are going to be there: it's a brilliant idea.
but where are they going to stash the immigrants, poor and the travellers when the 'big day' comes?

drove over to park royal to auto audio.
noticed a VERY custom porsche cayenne with the registration plate '80 OSS'.
'what does the guy who owns that car do for a living?' i asked.
'he's just inherited £400 million', i was told.

does not compute: ***>>>>%%%££$$$@@@!!

and today the guy who started 'phones 4 u' just sold his business for £1.4 billion (of which he'll get £1.2 billion).
i was going to say, i'm in the wrong job...
but i'm not.
i'm just doing what i can/ what i love.

the r32's got to go back to auto audio (again): still haven't stopped the car rattling when i listen to my music at the volume i like to.
and the yukon's going back in for some upgrades too...

mick came over with a man and a van.
our shed's going to his place, not our next one.

mick was talking about how difficult it is to walk down the street in plumstead without tripping over all the yellow, police 'murder', 'serious assault' etc. signs there.
i feel more than blessed that we can leave through choice and wave gooodbye to london.
if i could, i'd leave england too.
my cousin's just relocated to sweeden and all seems well.

this country is losing sense of itself: it's becomming so dislocated/fragmented that it's various parts don't know anything about each other.
lack of community innit (unlike here:HA!)

congratulations jenson button.

and just in case you haven't noticed: the images in the gallery are now much less incumbered by text (as they the used to be).
big props to neato as ever...
