the lack of internet at our place is REALLY frustrating...
have had to sign up with bt internet on a 12month contract and have to wait 5 days OR i'd be having to wait over 5 weeks to get back online.
sorry for the lack of details and irregularity of posts...this will change in a week or so.
since we moved in on weds, my mum and dad have been staying in their campervan and helping with the sons and unpacking.
james (todd) our friend and genius spark has also been staying in his caravan on site.
everything is off the lorries and in the house or barn (but still in boxes).
the sons are LOVING it.
i am LOVE, LOVE, LOVING it!
mrs.perou would be loving it is she wasn't so tired.
went for my first swim in our pool today.
got it at a comfy 29º
and i'm getting used to looking after the peahen (the peacock's off sowing his seed apparently).
the well we're having installed is underway.
we ate plums straight off our trees this afternoon: there's so much fruit in the orchard it could be a full-time job just picking and storing everything.
we had mushrooms (field and horse) picked out of our field tonight.
took maximum and z on a tractor rides last night.
while my mum and dad helped dismantle the old victorian greenhouse that was just smased glass waiting to maim someone.
it's weird to wake up in complete darkness and quiet in the night.
the sons are sleeping through the night though and so i am i.
something's clicked in my head and i feel like i never want to go back to work (in london) again.
but,
i have to: tomorrow is the MMASM calbacks.
here's james scoping out some (rabbit) dinner for us.
