flash bang whallop
so, here's me and my brother navigating captain maximum (in 'flash', the trusty mirror dinghy) towards a low bridge near our little farm.
'flash' looks more impressive with her sails up...but as we can't work out how to put her sails up and as we can't fit under bridges with them up, we leave them off.
you can tell me and my brother are related innit...

got up at sunrise and fed the ducks, chickens and children (in that order).
yes: i forgot to feed the dogs...bad perou.
cooked a good fry-up for all.
friday, mrs.perou's mum stayed and last night my borther and sister-in-law stayed.
to homebase for bins and fencing.
spent a while round lunchtime on the beach, throwing balls into the sea for the dogs and building sand castles.
we drove to the beach but i'm determined to work out how to either navigate there by boat or by walking.
we're only 3/4's of a mile from the sea but there's a dual carriageway and a railway line between us and it.
ate (rump) steak sandwiches for lunch and then refenced the chicken yard with my brother.

oh, how people laugh as we squeeze under what one shouldn't or what one would think another one couldn't.
i have had another special weekend, with nothing but happy, simple times and sunshine.
(unlike sara who was burgled yesterday afternoon while she went out to play tennis in the park.
someone/some people stole her cameras and computers etc...
big props lady).
high security always pays for itself though.
i don't understand why people don't invest in the best they can afford.
this afternoon, after feeding the chickens (who i've let out early as they were craving sunshine) i sat down in the yard for a while and laughed myself silly at the ducks, who are very comical and friendly creatures.
i almost feel bad for having a canadian goose head (and neck) stuffed and mounted on my office wall.
the more animals we get, the more i am loving the animals.
saw a rabbit in the back field a couple of days ago and despite asking james to shoot us one for ages (for dinner) i thought i'd hate to see it anywhere but hopping around the garden now.
