z in a bin

z in a bin

simple pleasures...i'm all for them.

i've always said this son of mine would be happy in a cardboard box.
as it goes, he's happy in a metal bin too.

i've realised i haven't been photographing z so much...that's going to change.

after lunch today, and a parent/teacher meeting at maximum's school, i drove back to the factory to remove the 'last things'.

no matter how much i love the farm, it still feels like the factory is my proper home, and that we're just on some kind of extended holiday in kent.

i still feel like an east londoner.
i still feel more connected there than i do to the countyside.
as WAY more beautiful the farm is, in some ways i feel like the factory is more 'me'
i guess it might just have something to do with all the memories i have of being in the factory: i've got a lot of history there...

i'm living in the countryside for my children.
i'm sure they won't appreciate it by the time they're old enough to.

had a freak out (again) while sol and mus (hilmi's son) removed the central heating and copper pipes.
and i loaded everything else i could.

got covered in soot loading sol's van with the fireplace from upstairs (yes, i took EVERYTHING).

there's still a new (one side) white 8ftx8ft perspex sheet and a black sheet too.
if anyone want's them and can arrange collection, they're worth about £300 each, email us at info@perou.co.uk and you can have them.

end of an era.
time to move on...

went to the MMASM crew launch at SH.
i'm actually looking forward to getting started and getting on with it.
feels like it's been building for ages...

dropped frances back at her place and drove back to the farm, getting sleepy at the wheel but drinking the red bull and keeping going.
the radio 1 rock show helped.

keep on trucking people...
