nice
nice to be back in Nice.
spent the morning at t'farm getting depressed about the air being as cold inside my office as it was outside: ie. freezing, despite the floor being 'hot'.
got so cold i couldn't type or retouch.
my mood was further lowered by my realisation that the oil boiler in the house was working independantly of the timer and as such has been ON constantly for the last month: hence our now lack of oil and the danger of us being without heating for christmas.
my mood was further lowered by some persons completely fucking my schedule around, for the second time, having promised not to again: cancelling a shoot at the very last minute...which also follows two other people almost giving me some work (inc. the spice girls) to have that fall through.
this pattern is REALLY grinding and seems to be a popular trend which needs to stop...NOW.
so anyway...i'm in nice with the frances...and not just for our christmas dinner.
and we're in über luxury.
my bedroom is twice the size of our sitting room back at t'farm.
and i get a rubber duck/seahorse thing to share a huge, deep bath with, whilst listening to chopin piano concertos.
a good end to a shitty day.
wish mrs.perou was here to enjoy it with me...and that we were staying the rest of the week.
