have had a happy simple day around and about t'farm.
mrs.perou took maximum and z horse-riding (z watched, maximum rode) while i did some sainsburys and B&Q chopin.
had a long walk in blean woods.
had a bonfire back at home.
cremating an unfortunate squirrel that crossed my path earlier.
shame they're not more edible/tasty.
had a good game of 'blow football' on the kitchen table.
amazing how much fun yous can have with a few straws and a ping-pong ball
and polyfilled bits of the house that used to be gaps.
having done some major work here over the last year, we're moving on to decorating some parts of the house.
there's still a heap to be done and probably always will be but it feels like we're getting somewhere now.
