this morning all of us overslept...which is VERY unusual.

maximum was sleeping in our bed because he'd had a nightmare about penguins eating each other.
when mrs.perou got out of bed, maximum stirred.
so she said to him, 'why don't you carry on sleeping sweetheart?'
maximum replied, 'i woke up when my dream stopped and the adverts started'.

harry, jane, polly, fred and oscar have come to see in the new year with us again.

blew some clays to smitherines.

went for a long walk along the beach (well harry ran actually: NUTTER!)

had a bonfire.

the simple, happy life things.

now we will eat, drink and be merry.

happy new year all.
