breathes a sigh of relief

breathes a sigh of relief

i shot this on my iphone during one of the darker moments of this afternoon.

spent the morning doing deals with local greengrocers on the basis that instead of putting their waste fruit and veg in a bin, they could put it in our pigs.

bt came and fixed more line to the house.
(but is it REALLY fixed?)

then mrs.perou drove me to the magistrates court in sittingbourne

everyone can have their day in court...

everyone can have their day in court...

mine was court 3.
(more iphone misadventure)

today's MASSIVE respect and thanks go to my friend james singleton and my beautiful AND skilled counsel: saba naqshbandi

the afternoon was unpleasantly hectic with lots of twists and turns.
we're going for a not guilty...no: we're pleading guilty...no: we're pleading not guilty etc...

BUT
i walk away from court without the (up to) 6 months ban, fine and criminal record i was facing.

it's probaly cost me 4x what i would have been fined but every penny spent on good legal advice (and all that was 'borrowed' for free) was worth it.

BIG sighs.

i am not seeking to recoup my legal fees: take them (and the sleepless nights) as punishment enough.

i'm going to celebrate by buying another motorbike (sorry mum)
