heading to the pool for an early morning swim, i wondered what was lying by the side of the BBQ.
at first i thought it was a furry turkey.
it was in fact, a rabbit with it's ears eaten off and it's neck stripped back to it's spinal chord.
definitely not the deliacte work of a fox.
maximum said, 'oh: this is the first rabbit i've seen close up'.
the farmyard gore fest continues and sons take it all in their stride.
at lunchtime, left sons and farm in care of granny ali and drove to rye for the wedding of our friends, rachel and lewis.
which was lovely.
the town crier, walked them through town declaring to all the news of their marriage.
never had my (yellow and green snakeskin vivienne westwood) shoes photographed as much.
wouldn't have worn them if i had known.
i love rye.
too far to commute to london though.
