which ought YOU to wear?

which ought YOU to wear?

DTT

called into andy's.
the drone from the perou-mobile is a wheel bearing.

called in at auto audio and had some more tweaks.
on their forecourt also having work done was a lamborghini murciélago, 2 porsche carerra GT's and a rare ferrari worth around £800,000 (and the usual array of aston martins, amg mercedes etc...)
auto-envy.

decided it was time for a new bowler hat: after years of loyal service, mine's so battered it's ridiculous.
parked up on st james street and called in on the shoppe i get my 'plus fours' from.
they didn't have a bowler hat in my size and recommended 'lock and co' down the hill.

i love it round st james street: old london.
lock and co was established in 1676!
looks like they still have the original door on the shop.
what a fascinating hat emporium.

as i was paying at the till that it was explained to me that i was (by chance) buying a bowler hat from THE source: james lock created the bowler hat (or 'the coke' as it was first known) in 1850.

after it became popular they were producing 60,000 a year.
not so popular now.

i luuuurve my new bowler/coke...mrs.perou's birthday present to me.

lock and co. were kind enough to gold monograph the inside of the hat.
they offered to do 3 initials.
i got them to do 5.

the house of diehl diehl diehl

the house of diehl diehl diehl

there should really be some pictures of me pole dancing here from last night.
but secret agent kate went home with my camera...
maybe it's for the best.

after lock and co hat shopping, stopped at SH and met up with kenny ho.

then checked into a decent hotel on regents park before meeting up with frances, her twin sister catherine and agent kate in camden.

'twas the house of diehl's 'style wars' at the proud galleries which i was invited to co-judge with joe corre (agent provocateur), jodie harsh and vv brown.

many photographers there.
lots of haters.
and a few friendlies.
good to catch up with the other GG (georgina graham)

frances is amazed at my easy propensity for pissing people off simply by the way i dress.
think my 'TALENT' t-shirt was working well in this regard.

had a short charming conversation with charming 'lingerie model' lauren/violet budd until she said she was 18 and i felt like a durty old man.
transpires, she's been dating david walliams...durty old man.

left late.
drunk.
wwwooaeeeer...
