lounge on the farm
we all went to 'lounge on the farm' with che and miranda too.
'twas a very sweet, small (local) festy.
and in true festival style, it drizzled with rain on and off and stayed cloudy all day.

temper trap
the GREAT temper trap were playing the 'sheep dip' tent.
and they were amazing.
maximum and z met the band before the show and before they started playing they all waved to maximum and z (on mine and che's shoulders)
this was maximum and z's first gig.
after every song, while everyone else was clapping, maximum was coyly waving at the band.
at the end of the show johnny pointed at maximum and gave him a big wave which made him VERY happy.
after the show, both boys went 'back' (to the side of the tent) and got autographs from everyone.
maximum was saying 'i've got ryan giggs and lewis hamilton's autographs too'.
band were super lovely to sons and signed their bit of cardboard 'to the future rockstars of tomorrow'.

more roots manoeuvre
maximum's finds from the corn field.
about 6.30pm mrs.perou drove miranda and exhausted sons home (i was cunning enough to have us both drive to the festival).
and me and che returned to festy.
was very surprised to find a HUGE stage in an enormous cattle shed where 3000ish people were watching secret guest 'roots manuva' do his set.
moved on to the dance tent.
stayed till the music shut down at midnight.
was a good day/night.
took an hour and a half to get home as the che and i were driving round little country lanes listening to very loud music.
