all is chalmers
i was bitching about my 2nd generation i-phones' camera quality...till all today's pictures were taken on it.
went to a farm dispersal auction over in west malling with sons this morning.
met max and harry there.
it was VERY interesting.
thought i was going to bid on the old mincer, the old mixing machine and the old sausage maker.
but they went for £700, £400 and £1180 respectively.
:o
i forced the sons to hang around till the end of the auction because i was half thinking about this tractor which i LOVE.
this picture doesn't do it justice.
fully reconditioned: £900.
i didn't bid.
i knew i couldn't square it with mrs.perou.
now i wish i'd got it...too late loser.
should have got the 1977 landrover for £250 too.
i got bidding freeze though.
think i was intimidated by all the 'proper' farmers.

real tree kubota
z, harry and maximum.
in the 4x4, real-tree golf cart.
big shouts out to mr.todd and tomoland (them LOVE the realtree)

this lot
there was some sights to be seen.
some characters like i've never seen before.
next time i'll be returning with a 'proper' camera.
aution decorum was interesting too.
seems like if you wanted something as the 'walk-around-a-field' auction approached you should grab hold of the item.
staking your claim on it.
reminded me of those endurance competitions: last person to let go wins it.
sarah and steve have come for the weekend.
and cousin james dropped in bearing strawberry cheesecake: mmmmmmm.
