only just occurred to me the significance: this dog was called 'blade'
LOST DOG
a charming little staffy / english bull terrier cross was running loose round town for the second day in a row
someone asked us for a rope so I suggested he could stay in our front yard while we put the word out on the local, anti-social medias to find his owner
after an hour, a can of dog food and some water we decided I should walk him to the vets to have his chip read
half way over the park, someone came up and claimed him
and after I checked to see there were pictures of blade on the person's phone, I waved goodbye.
a happy end to an annoying day: I managed to lose 24,000 emails moving servers: deleted from the old server and my computer
eventually managed to reinstate most from a backup in June
but now new Mac osx Catalina is so shite, I can receive emails but I can't send them
have spent hours trying to resolve this, unsuccessfully
when computers work well, its great and when they don't, it's life draining
steve was over wallpapering the library
Leighton delivered all the ground floor windows
and bob continues pointing
I also redid a step that I'd tiled not quite right yesterday
