bright light
it's so bright, it's almost daylight.
took maximum for a private lesson at the swimming pool.
he looked so little.
he stubbornly refused to wear his goggles.
had many flashbacks to my childhood: i used to swim for haywards heath and just about made it to swimming for sussex.
oh, how i used to amuse myself with the 'i'm a champion breast-stroker' line.
i could swim 3 miles aged 12.
parents used to complain if i was allowed to enter the scout swimming galas because i'd win everything.
i used to love swimming.
'man from atlantis' was on when i was a kid and i used to think i was him.
i'd have been happy to have webbed feet and hands.
anyway.
felt ridiculous amounts of love/pride for maximum watching him learn to swim.
after, did a regular food shop at tescos with no 'luxury' items...cost £180.
this is shocking to me.
crispin and sangeeta came over for tea.
i've had a great day at home with the family (and friends).
i've had a happy day.
but i'm buzzing off the moon now.
hope i can sleep.
