z is 2 today
maximum is wearing a star today because he didn't take all his clothes off and hide under a table at school.
this is a primary school reward.

this was z just before he started freaking out after a birthday tea, sugar-rush and started running round in circles trying to bite everyone.
i had to put him in his cot and try and calm him down...which was difficult: felt like i was sitting with an older child who was tripping or something.

today i bought an incubator.
red (our rhode island red hen) is sitting broody on 4 eggs now.
tomorrow all eggs laid are going in the incubator.
let's see who does better: nature or technology.
here's a clue: after getting off 3 warm eggs this morning (to get some food and drink) red got back in a different nesting box forgetting the three eggs she had been sitting on to sit on a new one.

i've almost had a whole week at the farm: woooowhoooo!
it's been very family.

next week it's back to business.
got to earn some $'s as i've decided to build a squash court/ sauna etc... thing in the orchard.
