i told you i was ill

i told you i was ill

joined john's funeral cortégé as it drove past our place (his old place) and followed it through some of his favourite villages to a crematorium towards dover.

john was a spike milligan fan (like me) and this cartoon was on the back of today's service order.
there was old jazz played as the curtains closed.

i'm sad we didn't get to know him more: he was quite a character and his presence is stlll felt very much here.

it was raining today.
i hope it rains for my funeral...i think it's appropriate weather for mourning.

did a small amount of helping james with the scrubbing bird shit off oak beams and dusting the underside of the thatch, of the office to be.

then, more retouching: i'm in retouching hell.

looking forward to the future though: got some more good stuff coming in...
