7am
z makes me laugh: when he's shy of someone, he throws an extreme frown, puts his head down and peers out under his furrowed brow.
got the perou-mobile washed by some eastern europeans in tescos' car park after doing the weekly shop today.
z maintained his unamsued look the entire time.
at first i thought he was in trouble: slumped forward in his car seat.
then i realised what was (not) wrong.
mrs.perou was in london attending to some business.
on the way back from tescos, maximum said he was hot.
i said i couldn't take his coat off (which i'd foolishly left on him when i put him in his seat) until we got home.
i opened the back windows and kept driving.
maximum said he was hot.
tescos is 10 minutes from our house.
by the time we'd turned off the main road, onto our road, maximum was saying 'ur...i think i'm going to be sick'
we were 50 yards from home.
'i'm going to BE SICK...'
i pulled over, pulled him out the car and he was indeed sick.
bad daddy didn't listen.
'i told you i was going to be sick: i was too hot'.
:(
always on my watch.
stratford's poo doesn't get a lot of time to cause trouble in our garden: mrs.perou does a good job on poo patrol.
(is this too much information?)
anyway...today, when i'm unusually in sole charge of my children, z managed to tread dog shite all over the only carpet in the house.
good work z.
crispin and sangeeta are down for the weekend.
we've definitely got 2 chicks growing in eggs, due for arrival on easter sunday.
but one already has a dented, cracked shell.
fingers crossed they're going to hatch and be healthy.
if they're hens they can stick around and lay eggs.
if they're cocks, there's 'coq au vin' to follow.
made another double batch of chocolate brownies.
last night i didn't really sleep.
when i have to brainstorm an idea, it kind of overtakes.
have cracked the idea for the track i'm writing on.
otis likes the idea.
so now i'm getting properly excited about the idea of directing again.
