had a really good morning meeting at 'tiger aspect USA' scheming schemes which are ALL exciting.
fingers in pies: pitching on lots of projects.
on top of all those that i'm already working on.
only foreseeable problem is that without mrs.perou's (local) stabilising influence, i can feel the slightly more manic me returning: i feel SOOoo excited about things at the moment, that it's only a matter of time before i feel the opposite.
anything could trigger the change of mind.
it's most likely something trivial.
time before mrs.perou has not been catalogued in dairy form so mine and other people's memories of 'how i was' are all that's left.
but it was messy and quite a miracle that i got here at all.
mrs.perou saved me from myself.
she probably doesn't realise quite how much.
and i can write this in the knowledge that she (unlike other rude people) doesn't read my secret diary.
anyway...
currently, times are GOOD!
despite me missing home tremendously and feeling guilty at the same time for really enjoying being here.
this delicious cocktail, the name of which i was never party to, was one of a few served to me by my friend kara's friend, paula, who is the mixologist at 'le zie' 172 7th av at 20th st.
me and neil met kara for early dinner and drinks
kara is what we call 'good people' or 'one of us': she's always very inspiring and has lots of positive energy to share.
i have lots of good friends in NY and i get to see them here more than i get to see my good friends in england.
