OBEY
NEVER TRUST YOUR OWN EYES: BELIEVE WHAT YOU ARE TOLD
love this.
i want a framed one
shame someone put up a fence in front of this one so i couldn't get closer.
(old street).
just before i stopped to shoot this, his gordon brown-ness was rushed past in a high security escort.
couldn't work out why the policeman on a motorbike was fiercely telling me to 'STOP' the perou-mobile, just before the cavalcade passed.
i wonder if they were heading to the olympic site?
not much else in hackney for a prime minister to do.
i was in town for meetings.
which started well at pulse films.
once again, there's lots to do and be excited about.
just off tottenham court road someone came over as i was paying to park, and dropped a random act of kindness on me:
'perou' , he said.
'hello', i said, desperately trying to remember where i knew him from (even though i didn't).
'just wanted to say "you're cool": my girlfriend's a photographer too', he said and then he walked away.
thankyou generous stranger.
gave me a lift on a grey day.
unfortunately the lift didn't last so long as moments later i realised there was a large screw sticking out of the perou-mobile's rear offside tyre.
spent the afternoon in chiswick getting the tyre (and the previously broken) wing mirror repaired.
back t' farm where mum-mum and dad-dad have moved in for a week, zoo sitting.
mrs.perou, sons and yours truly off skiing tomorrow morning.
i might be able to post from the snow scenes but i doughnut know.
if not, have good weeks.
don't break a leg etc...
