today's HUGE congratulations go to DD (truly a MF: crispin) and sangeeta: WOOOOHOOOO.
i have spent some of today removing old prints from clip frames and packing them up for ye olde charity shoppe.
and have amused myself by leaving a couple of signed prints still framed in the mix.
someone will either get a bargain.
or perhaps they'll discard something midly valuable without knowing.
a family on holiday in 'la rosierre' asked me to take their family photo on their camera and mrs.perou said quietly after, 'they'll never know how much that could have cost them'.
not only did i shoot their picture but i also gave the father a free lesson on shooting into the sun.
i'm in the mood to get rid of all my 'stuff'.
i like the whole, 'if you haven't touched it or looked at it in a year, get rid of it'.
i have too many 'things'.
the self portrait of rembrant (between the two windows, pictured) will stay.
despite all this, i almost bought a nissan 350zx on whim today.
