R32
drove to canterbury with da family and bought the only remaining new, black, R32 available.
pre-orders wouldn't be ready till march 07.
sorry dave: mine's got 5drs (and it's not DSG but manual).
that's as it came: not my preference.
you'll only notice if you look sideways as i'm overtaking you (very quickly).
i pick it up on friday.
just waiting to have the windows (limo)blacked out.
it will NOT be 'p3rou' plated: i'm going black ops: anonymous this time.
next drove to stodmarsh to the 'red lion' as recommended by my new favourite book: 'the good pub guide 2005' and had the best roast dinner i've had in ages (it was even better than my own efforts on thursday night).
had roast beef with local cow off the 'birt estate'.
this pub MIGHT be my local if our farm buying goes through.
after lunch drove to broadstairs and enjoyed walking/paddling/pulling z's pushchair along the sandy beach/sea front.
never been to broadstairs before.
out of season it was extra lovely: so chilled and with a few friendly people milling about.
caught a brass band playing such classics as 'rule brittania' etc... in the bandstand.
maximum had his first 'flake 99' without the flake.
drove back 77 miles to the factory with z screaming an impossibly loud scream most of the way.
more teething i think.
despite z's soundtrack to our return, i've had a lovely day/weekend with my family.
i'm really happy for the first time in a long time.
if we don't get to live in that farm...bad things will happen: people (government officals etc.) could get hurt.
