caught a train to newcastle.

two return first class tickets were £574!
this is ridiculous, no?

i did get a free car parking space at kings x (worth £24) a free breakfast (worth £17.50) and a free wireless network throughout the journey.

photographed some people by the banks of the river tyne.

and returned minutes later: 7 hrs on a train for a 30 minute shoot.

watched king kong over the there and back, mixed in with emails, phonecalls and binge eating.

today, we have had some good news: our 'people' are doing good things on our behalf.
in a month's time i will hopefully be a much happier and more relaxed person than i have been since last sept.

i am quite a pessimist, i guess: i never feel that good things will happen to me...in some ways i feel i don't deserve them when they do.

i am also a fatalist: i believe that we can choose a route but our destination is pre-determined.
unless you're not an active participant, you'll end up where you're supposed to be.
