a bad day for three pigs...
...and a fairly rubbish day for us humans too.
started early loading up 3 pigs into a trailer which was incredibly difficult: physically, because they didn't want to go in it and emotionally because z was crying about 'sally' going off to the abattoir.
sally is the pig smiling on the right of this picture, oblivious to her fate
:(
DTT for another casting of models and burlesque performers.
then drove up to tottenham to photograph a boxer called 'hannah beharry'.
had HUGE equipment failures then hallucinating courier issues:
an hour after: 'the courier is outside with the replacement lights'
'no he's fucking not: i'm outside and he's not here'
etc...
still managed to get the shots just before hannah almost gave up on us getting our shit together had to leave.
this is VERY unusual.
i blame clara who has been second assisting us.
she is jonah.
(we also had 'problems' on the two day fashion shoot last week...which is also unusual)
anyway.
problems always happen but a professional works round them/ through them and still gets the goods.
which we did.
mrs.perou was told by mercedes (who now own jeep) that her gearbox would be £7000 + £1000 labour ie. more than her car's worth.
if we recover it to andy's in chiswick, he'll do it for £1500.
still unpleasantly busy with jobs and meetings shifting all over the place: making pig chopping up and sausage planning very difficult.
BUT
it's good to be busy: i wouldn't want it any other way.
returned to my agent's office to send off another treatment and photos/video from today's casting.
then late back to farm for a grabbed dinner and 1st round of judging the university of westminster's photo competition...
