remember day
DTT to pick up lights, frances and mark
left wallet on desk at farm.
realised when i'd run out of lpg
drove to salubrious milton keynes to the home of 'red bull racing' to photograph 'mark webber'.
had a short happy shoot.
mark was very friendly and amenable.
which was unexpected: many F1 drivers have a reputation for being very short with their time and patience.
here's me holding a playstation F1 steering wheel which has a few more 'functions' than the one i'm usually hanging on to.
after the shoot we got shown round the redbull racing 'factory' which was sci-fi INCREDIBLE.
truly mind-blowing on every level.
700 people rolling on a budget of £250m a year producing just 5 cars a year.
with nasa style live feeds from the race to a control room and machines that 'build' 3d objects by firing lasers at plasma etc, etc...
returned to farm late after dropped back lights and crew to london.
