(i did not do this...but it does amuse me)
brother mark and sister nina came to farm to help with the final sausage push.
but had to start the day by removing a fallen (into the telephone lines) tree, in the lane.
max snr. kindly helped
4 of us on the pig chain gang doing a 7hr, straight standing shift, no breaks.
ran out of skins at one point and max snr. again kindly helped with the cunning acquisition of more.
flavours of the day: scicillian (with red wine and romano cheese etc...) and irish (with white wine, garlic, basil, thyme and rosemary etc...)
fresh ingredients were rocking but it took sooooo long.
large chest freezer is FULL.
finished round 5pm feeling guilty we'd left the kiddas to entertain themselves all day.
so went on a 'midnight walk' (in the dark around 6pm) across the fields and saw lots of stars.
i caught a long shooting star but everyone else missed it.
stratford tried to catch a large hare, but missed it.
returned to farm and played 'tummy ache' and 'sorry'.
knackered.
