the office, thursday 7am
guess who was first on set?
i was early because i stayed in shepherds bush at 'key west' last night and my producer, hiywet, had made sure i had the executive suite...which was sweeeeeet.

a full, successful day of filming the commerical that we've been in pre prod for weeks on.
with a fine crew.
big props to all involved (money's too tight to mention too many to mention)
after a little overtime for the last shots, quickly changed into something more ridiculous and got stuck in some slow moving traffic heading back to london town, shaking from a redbull OD.

met clara in russell square and arrived late at the 'heat magazine' photo exhibition launch.
was amused to walk down some red carpet where all the papanazis put their cameras down and turned their backs on us.
the party was entirely devoid of any 'celebrities' who one might have imagined to see there.
seemingly nobody came to see themselves printed big on a wall.
jodie marsh was there, of course.
slammed some bubbly and was just about to leave when someone came over and said, 'me and my friends know you're a fashion designer but we're not sure which one: who are you?'
'i'm not a fashion designer, i'm a bricklayer and my names john'
'ur...right', said fella, '...you don't really look like a bricklayer...what kind of bricks do you lay?'
'red ones'
'hmm...', he continued suspiciously, '...if you're a bricklayer what kind of mix do you use?'
'4:1...but at the moment i'm working on stables and so the mix is stronger and we have to use an alkaline resistant concrete due to the horse piss'
'right', he said.
then moving his attention to clara: 'what do you do?'
'i'm a bricklayers assistant' said clara.
we left.
checked in at one of my very favorite hotels: the 'rough luxe' in kings cross and got another warm welcome form leo there.
caught a cab to shoreditch and met up with che and miranda at the opening of the new bar called 'concrete' that che did the logo for.
seems strange to be opening a new bar in shoreditch.
there's a few bars in shoreditch already.
free food and free booze and excellent tunes spun by danny flower: sydney youngblood 'if only i could' amazing.
here's clara writing in chalk on the wall on the way out.
evidence
(but there's no 'K' in 'nobcheese')
clara amusingly wrote 'PEROU' next to this.
hmmm...

harsh jodie
retired to shoreditch house for dinner and a nightcap.
good to see the great 'jake nava' and catch up briefly.
ms.jodie harsh was there too.
'i saw the real jodie just now', i said, amusing myself.
left shoreditch house laughing: she (ms.harsh) was very amusing.
cab back to the 'rough luxe' a little bit pissed out my tits.
it's been a long, good day.
work hard play hard: my favourite
