homeward bound...

i have the fear: i could have upgraded to upperclass and flown home happy IF i'd waited four more hours to fly.

although this doesn't sound like a long time, it would mean i wouldn't see my family tomorrow night before i head off again the following morning.
if leave now and endure the gnarly, over-full flight in lower-class, i should be home in time to tuck my sons into bed.
if i leave later i wouldn't see them till morning: i'd just get to say goodbye before walking out the door again.

so i'm leaving now.
ho hum.

i hear i'm returning to an outbreak of bird flu in england?

great: just as we find a mate for our peahen, we might have to kill them both...and the chickens...and the ducks.
