Slept well on a hard bed. Didn’t let the little lizard running around the walls and ceiling bother me.
Started the day with some toast (a conservative choice) followed with an Indian head massage (which was very oily).
It’s very hot.
Spent the morning stressing out over the lack of sensible internet.
Got driven to the ashram that I’m shooting at while I’m here. Spent the afternoon getting to grips with the task ahead and meeting people.
Spent ALL day frustrated with my inability to post to my diary, receive or send emails. I can get almost every website BUT perou.co.uk. and even my cellphone is not happy and I can’t get my voicemail.
Big props to roman@constant technology who hooked me up with ‘hidemyass.com’ to cheat my way past the ban.
And also to Neato for posting this on after having it emailed to him. Palaver innit.
Things will undoubtably remain erratic until my return.
