on and off goth
after dinner at SH (bumping into the poncho/cape sporting noel 'mighty bush' fielding, who i haven't seen in years, and alison from 'the kills') headed to camden for a wasted night of non-goth photography.
left around half midnight and slept at colleen's place in leicester square after watching a bit of 'eastern promises'.
campion and ms.hood called round for me at 10.30am this morning and we drove north up the M1, stopping for lunch in a great pub called...(i've forgotten...the george...perhaps?) which had delicious food but was full of noisy, pushy, posh kids shouting, all wearing 'maidwell hall' shirts.
got to leeds tired, in time to watch the end of 'eastern promises' before heading out again to set up studio at a goth pub/club.
after setting up, took campion and ms.hood to 'bibis' (which is my favourite restaurant in leeds) and were given the top table of honour (thankyou).

i think you can judge a hotel by the chocolates they leave on a pillow for you (if they do) and by the quality of the toilet paper.
the hotel we were all staying in left us elizabeth shaw mint crisps...need i say more?
after bibis, went back to the 'black veil' event to photograph northern goths in situ.
not everyone wanted to be photographed...not even the dita von teese looky-likey.
the goths were very friendly though.
finished by midnight.
back at the hotel drinking awful 'champagne' watching a doc on 'factory records' and processing digital files by half midnight.
