sometimes here, standing amongst the enormous monoliths, it's easy to feel small and insignificant.
had 5 out of 5 scheduled meetings today: 2 magaziness and 3 ad agencies.
very cold in the city again.
managed to forget my gloves and left my hat in a cab.
discovered loehmanns (on 7th at 17th) and bought myself a helmut lang suit cheeeeeap and...ur...some more sunglasses.
the suit isn't going to keep warm here BUT it's going to make me feel better about dressing casual (and warm) all the time i'm here.
bought some new 'boots' for the perou-mobile.
they'll only spin when the wheels are going round.
i DID want some 'asanti' AF-125's...till i found out they're £1000 each +shipping.
it's all just a stop gap till i get something that'll do 100mpg...in 2010?
finished the day tired and not really looking forward to seeing the broadway show i was booked in for.
i've never been to a broadway show before.
and i'm not big on musicals.
several people i mentioned that i was going to see a show 'poo-pooed' the idea.
but i'm going to be doing some stuff for 'spring awakening' so i was given some tickets to go and check it out.
it was BRILLIANT!
i even bought the cd after.
superb singing/acting/music...REALLY good...get's the perou both thumbs up seal of approval.
a standing ovation was given.
