big chefs
instead of a gnome garden, i'm going to have a chef garden.
woke up feeling rough.
more than just hungover...
had a meeting uptown.
then stopped by 'shoot digital' to pick up a lens and got a car to the ghetto to photograph 'genesis p orridge' some more.
while i waited for her to do her make-up, she brought me out a complete set of 'OZ magazines' to look through.
FREEZING cold today...but we shot outside, around the hood regardless.
had a drink together in the local cafe after and then i caught a car back to manhattan.
did some raw file processing.
thought i should call the glasses store to see if they were open (at 7pm) and if they were, i'd take it as a sign i should go and get the glasses i just COULDN'T leave behind.
they were (un)fortunately open.
vintage, ltd edition dior: 18ct gold with mother of pearl inner rims: rudeness in a frame.
this is the most expensive pair of glasses i have ever bought.
i told the owner that she was evil...and that i was glad we lived in different countries.
she seemed confused.
now i am racked with guilt.
but being so extravagant will fuel some fevered work from me, undoubtably.
maybe they can be my birthday and christmas presents combined for a few years?
i'll probably break them or lose them soon enough though.
pictures to follow, eventually.
