read my palms

was woken early by the head-banging peacock again.
if she he wasn't such a pretty bird, i'd have knocked her him on the head a long time ago.

it was raining cold and miserable when we got up.
so we lit a log fire, pulled the curtains and watched 'the lion, the witch and the wardrobe' with the sons.

by the time the film was finished, the log fire had gone out and the sun was shining.

kim and his son jim kindly came over to get the massey ferguson going now we're reunited with our field topper.

spent the rest of the day topping 4ish acres of will-be paddocks.

can really imagine the paddocks with horses on now.
very exciting.

a good day at the (alternative) office.
fun to pretend to be a proper farmer, driving my little red tractor up and down a field.

simple things please simple people.
