pigs in paradise (again)
up early to ready the (new) pig's palatial residence.
their pen was full of poppies.
mick and aaron brought us 5 weener sows for the fattening.
good to have pigs at the farm again.
once the pigs had settled and in and mick had talked me through the movement order and livestock record again, drove to wingham for some pig nuts and electric fencing (and mosnters inc. biscuits from the bakery)

max came over to help me wire up the solar powered electric fence.
both got electric shocks trying to work out if it was working.
still not convinced it is.
but not prepeared to keep electrocuting myself.
drove back to wingham and collected a diesel soaked, garage workbench for our kitchen.
it stinks but it's beautiful.sort of like some model's i've known.
sort of industrial.
an abused heavy chunk of wood and metal.
getting it to stop smelling of oil and deisel will be my new 'thing'.
(always good to have something pointless to stress out about).
missed the margate big day out but still heard the eurofighter from farm.
several of the planes buzzed over us including (i think?) a lancaster and a spitfire.
