took sons to school and then drove to canterbury to collect mrs.perou, whose jeep was in for a service.

picked up some bales of wood chip, more rat poison, dog shampoo, petrol, diesel, door knobs and spray for bugs on roses.

returned home and helped mrs.perou stencil 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 in big black digits accross the play room back wall.
not quite banksy...

decided to tear out the old cupboard from the potting shed that mrs.perou has been banging on about talking about putting in the kitchen.

so then had to tear out some kitchen shelves to make space for the old (not exactly ikea) cupboards.

breaking eggs to make mess cakes.

then had to cement back the holes in the walls where shelves were once embedded.

managed to somehow get cement in my eye and spent half an hour rinsing my eyeball in an eye bath.

cut grass in orchard listening to old classics (from the 1990's) on headphones
in hot hot sun.

developed a guilt complex for not doing anything directly related to being a photographer other than (being alive and) answering the phone a few times.

picked up maximum and drove everyone to canterbury again so mrs.perou could collect her car.

i drove sleeping sons back to herne bay.
and was very amused by z 'clapping' in his sleep.
don't know what he was dreaming about.

rendezvoused with mrs.perou in herne bay for fish and chips on the beach lit by glorious sunset.
not-so-secret agent kate called from the hail and rain in london.

 

here's the knackered old cupboards that will take pride of place in our kitchen soon.
currently resting in the gallery (with the still unseen 'clowns' exhibition in the background).

i promise to stop messing around on farm and do some proper photography soon.
