pineapple cake detail
don't try this at home.
(this is what happens to a great grandad perou's recipe pineapple cake if you forget about it for a few months)
took sons to school.
got my 2nd shot of MMR jab which hurt.
but was only in doctor's surgery for 2 mins.
picked up ms.hood from train station.
messed about in the office while frances retouched.
i have two pitches/treatments to write currently and i'm doing almost anything but write them.
this afternoon decided to continue making a mess of the kitchen (whence i discovered the pineapple cake) and tore out some old cupboards sealed under several layers of flooring (slate, limestone then lino from the 1940's(?) before concrete).
z started crying when he saw what i had done.
it WILL look better...eventually.
it...ur...doesn't just now, admittedly.
so yes: another day at the farm living the good life.
but tomorrow's a back-to-business day...
