miss you nights
of course, there will be some things about living in hackney wick that i WILL miss...
round about 3am this morning, there was a dumbass trying to break the steering lock off this car whilst simultaneously repeatedly beeping the horn and waking us up.
he left the door open in disgust at his own crap efforts and walked off.
then two police cars turned up (uninvited) and spent the next half an hour opening then slamming the doors of their patrol cars, for no apparent reason.
half an hour after they left, muppet returned...

...and this time with petrol.
this car of unknown hatchback origin was particularly resilient.
it took AGES to blow up and for the alarm to finally die.
so spent a while photographing it all from the window of the studio as i couldn't be arsed to get dressed and go outside.
the studio and our bedrooms filled with a nice acrid burning smell while we waited for the fire engine to turn up.
they spent a while putting it out and we finally got back to sleep about 5am.
i'll miss things like this to photograph.
i won't miss worrying if my building will catch fire or my children will inhale something (else) nasty.
today i shot the timeout gay guide cover: a male model with too many muscles without his shirt on.
i was offended on behalf of all the unrepresented lesbians.
but i guess butch women with short hair would sell less copies (?)
:o
(i'm SO much more into lipstick lesbians).
almost flip-floped again and put an offer on that mill house in essex but after checking the flight paths for stansted realised my children breath better air in hackney wick despite all the burning cars.
someone wants to buy the perou-mobile off me.
so now obviously i don't want to sell it.
i'm still having trouble coming to terms with the idea of driving something that many other people do (a volkswagen).
i'm 90% well.
my mum's been ill (since we visited my folks on tuesday) and today my dad's ill.
happy easter.
there's a new members only chat room for chatting.
tonight, scampi and chips for dinner.
i haven't drunk cider for over a week...
