time off for good behaviour

i think it's fair to say that we'd forgotten how different life is without children.

this weekend has been VERY refreshing.
almost like old times B.K (before kids) but without the hardcore partying.

last night we went out for dinner with our friends neil and ellisa, to an italian called 'the ripe tomatoe' in portabello.
which was extra delicious.

today, we got up late.
i cooked breakfast (around lunchtime): sausage, bacon, garlic mushrooms, kidneys and onions with garlic and soy sauce, granary bread and juice.
watched a bit of telly.
walked the dog in the park in the hot hot heat.
mrs.perou went back to sleep and i drove down to sussex to get our boys.
easy.
relapsed.

despite the r32's ability to blast accross land and to fly through corners, i'm still having difficulty coming to terms with drving a small volkswagen.

but i think once i've 'got there' mentally, it'll be much better for me: i don't want to spend so much time thinking about cars: it's annoying: there are so many more important things to be thinking about.
