photographed the ex armed robber 'terry smith' in one of the last standing old factories of hackeny wick.
it was an interesting 'rough' location but stank of piss.
terry was/is an old school criminal who operated under a moral code that he says doesn't exist anymore due to drug culture.
now terry writes books and does some tv shows: did one called 'the heist' that i saw.
he gave me some free advice on how to make our farm-to-be a little more secure/unnatractive to burglars: hidden cameras, gravel drives and geese.
i said i thought that robbing banks was probably every schoolboy's fantasy.
i asked him if he had any other good advice regarding bank robbing...
after a little consideration, he said, 'always wear a mask!'
and later explained how you should never drive a green car as a getaway car because they're unlucky...in fact all green is unlucky except old £1 notes.
