ok, i know this isn't the best picture of me...but it's (one of) the ways i most like to see mrs.perou: laughing and happy.
we're having a lovely time.
without our children but missing them.
slept in till 10am this morning which NEVER happens these days.
had breakfast by the pool.
drove into a nearby town and bought some 'so-wrong-they're-right' sunglasses that i've never seen before: they're more like a futuristic visor, by romeo gigli and another pair by exte...and another pair for mrs.perou by romeo gigli too.
i'm concerned she's developing my 'problem' for dark glasses.
spent the afternoon on the beach.
went for an early evening mountain bike ride, half way up a mountain.
met a friendly tortoise.
and turned round.
coming down was much easier and quicker than going up.
just at the point i looked over my shoulder to see if mrs.perou was keeping up, i noticed her going (way) off road and into a bush (in a cloud of dust).
once more into the cocktails we go, before dinner in the same old town we were in before.
although we've only been away 1 (or 2) days, it feels like we've been gone a week.
soooo good to have a break.
wish you were here...
