i'm not sure how/why it turned out this way, but today wasn't (really) a good day...

ms. frances hood is on annual leave for the next two weeks.
this is:
a) not fair
b) reminding me how indispensable she is...which is horrible.

started by (personally) removing the prematurely placed 'hot chip', 'mystery jets' and 'my robot friend' pictures from here.
the issue of flaunt with them all in hasn't yet come out.
oopla: sorry.

DID replace them with the 'ashley jenson', 'edith bowman', 'david attenborough' and the 'bt essence of an entepeneur' pictures.

not that you wil be able to see them here: you'll have to go see the show (but hurry it's only up for a week) but (some of) the bt pictures have hidden messages or 'spot the difference' misdemeanours going on IN them.
having enjoyed myself with that, i might do more.
blame 'andrew wk' etc...

next took mick to get reg's death registered.
and after the registry office, i went in my first DSS office since 1997.
creeped me out/ made me feel very lucky i'm not at the mercy of the state...well not apart from the CPO n'all.

on returning to the factory, managed to reverse the R32 into our own gate.
destroying it's wing and rear bumper.

mick was amazed at how un-phased i was.
i didn't have time to be upset about it: i was late for my afternoon shoot.

anyway, i'm actually getting to a happy point where i'm not bothered about my car/s: as long as they work right, i don't care how they look?!
it's SO liberating...

drove into soho past a tool shop where i bought a hammer to knock out the dent a bit as every hump in the road was scraping the back tyre.

photographed the great 'mackenzie crook' at '2 too much' formerly the 'raymond revue bar'.
had a happy shoot.
menioned how i'd told a papa-nazi to 'f*** off' that was chasing him down portabello last week when i was there shooting the fashion story at the electric.

photographing mackenzie is easy because he's an active participant.

of course, the cost of the R32's repair from today cancels out the fee i got for photographing mackenzie.
i could of stayed at home and saved money: it would have been a lot less effort too.
HA!

stopped at john lewis on the way home: it's father's day this sunday innit...
and it's my mum's birthday too.

ps. this shot also features the back of keith beckle's head.
