here i am enjoying the facilities of the 5* hotel we were staying in over the weekend.
i inadvertedly emailed this and some other pictures of myself to an italian client today who shares the same name as my american agent.
one of them would have found this picture amusing.

today, it's raining to welcome us home and climatise us back to blighty.
our children and our dog have returned also.
z has a few stiches in his head after headbutting my parent's coffee table in our absence: it was a bit of a nightmare for them.
i went into town for some meetings this lunchtime.
i was wearing my romeo gigli glasses.
the person i was meeting (it is a secret 'who' for now) said 'oh my god, what have you come as today?' and asked 'are they your wife's?'.
'no' i said, 'they're my grandmas: i left my shopping trolley outside'.
